STONE CUT OR ROLLED OATMEAL:

We prefer to use 1/2 a cup of raw OATS per person.
We also use 2 parts liquid to 1 part OATS for recipes.

1. Bring liquid to a boil with salt, sugar & butter to taste.
2. Slowly add oats while stirring to avoid clumps.
3. Cook and stire on medium heat until you achieve your desired texture.

We cook ours for 15-20 minutes.

NOTE: Use milk, cream, water, broth, or cider to make oats. (We prefer milk)



STONE GROUND GRITS:

We prefer to use 1/3 a cup of raw GRITS per person.
We also use 3 parts liquid to 1 part GRITS for recipes
